Who we are?

SolutionEZ^TM, as simple as it may look, is the result of many years of research on "what causes all the annoyances related to wearing a CPAP mask?". Eighteen prototypes were realized in order to achieve the simple, yet efficient shape that as been the landmark of SolutionEZ^TM since it's market débuts 4 years ago.

Behind this invention stands a father-and-son duo:

François Poirier, retired welding teacher and CPAP user of 10 years (more than 30 000 hours) has repeatedly complained, with no success, to doctors, chest specialists and sleep therapists of his difficulties with the mask. Convinced that the situation was unacceptable, he took the matter into in own hands. He has worked litterally "days-and-nights" on his invention, decided to solve HIS problem. It is only later, after discussing with other users, that he realized his problem to be the problem of all. Commercializing his invention was then desirable.

Sylvain Poirier, industrial designer, specialized in medical equipments came into play to facilitate SolutionEZ^TM's commercialisation. He has legally protected the invention, added the finishing touch to the concept, found the suppliers and established a distributors network. With his company; Traces, he sees to the fabrication and distribution of SolutionEZ^TM on the entire planet. Traces is a product design consultancy, founded in 2001 and established in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
